Description

You will manage safety and environmental compliance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate workplace hazards and environmental issues.
• Analyze problems to provide accurate solutions.
• Counsel and influence technical staff, business leaders, and union personnel.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety and environmental laws.
• Lead EHS projects and teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for communicating across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to respond to organizational changes and challenges.
• Knowledge of standard databases and computer programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, EHS, Occupational Health and Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading EHS projects.
• Existing auditing certification or willingness to obtain one.
