Description

You will build front-end interfaces for a next-generation payments website, converting designs into cross-browser compatible code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert design mockups into cross-browser compatible HTML, XHTML, and CSS.
• Build and code static and dynamic pages from technical specifications.
• Create and manage CSS frameworks and styles to meet feature requirements.
• Develop functional prototypes to support usability research and iterative design.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to refine user experience.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in front-end web development.
• Expertise in hand-coding HTML and XHTML.
• Expertise in CSS for content styling, layout, and semantic coding.
• Proficiency with JavaScript to add behavior to static pages.
• Experience using design tools such as Photoshop or Fireworks to create mockups.
• Deep understanding of browser rendering and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to operate within a Linux environment.
• Proven portfolio demonstrating UI design and diagramming capabilities.
