Description

Develop frontend and backend components for a Medicaid web application and its associated web services. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement platform-independent, mobile-ready user interfaces.
• Own the application's look and feel, including implementation and maintenance.
• Migrate existing mainframe Medicaid systems to modern technology environments.
• Execute unit and systems testing for complex web systems.
• Support the Member Management replacement project and production support tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java and Web Development (Tapestry, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, Sass, or Less).
• 5+ years of experience with Web Services (REST/JSON, SOAP, WSDL).
• 5+ years of experience with EDI Transaction Sets (270/271, 276/277, 837).
• 5+ years of experience with ActiveMQ, Spring Security, and JDBC.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, stored procedures, and relational database design.
• 5+ years of experience in Unix environments and Unix scripting.
• 5+ years of familiarity with GIT source control.
• 5+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, HTTPUnit, or Selenium).
• 3+ years of experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

Preferred Skills

• BPM Platforms experience.
• Medicaid eligibility, business operations, or MMIS experience.
• Python and Django.
