Description

Conduct technical reviews of websites and applications to ensure adherence to digital standards for branding and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Test digital accessibility using manual and automated tools, including screen readers and assistive technologies.
• Perform compatibility testing across desktop and mobile devices.
• Document review results thoroughly and provide findings to application support teams and stakeholders.
• Meet with teams to explain technical results and ensure process optimization.
• Review applications for adherence to branding and digital standards.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
• Experience using assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
• Proficiency with accessibility evaluation tools including WAVE, Developer Tools, and Accessibility Inspector.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA.
• Experience testing on various operating systems including Windows, MacBook, iOS, and Android.
• Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• Ability to communicate technical terminology to diverse audiences and prepare detailed documentation.
• 1 year of digital accessibility testing experience (3+ years preferred).
• 1 year of working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Preferred Skills

• Degree or certificate in Information Technology.
