You will manage and support the WebFocus platform, ensuring scalability, security, availability, and reliability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Automate operation, installation, and monitoring of the WebFocus platform across cloud and on-premises data centers.
• Resolve critical support issues involving high technical complexity.
• Plan and implement tool upgrades and design system enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on technical strategies and design patterns for BI platform optimization.
• Develop and maintain operational runbooks, training curricula, and release management processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with WebFocus and data visualization development or platform management.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical role.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and cloud-based relational databases like Snowflake.
• Proficiency with BI platforms such as WebFocus, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or PowerBI.
• Strong Windows and/or Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with authentication and authorization systems like LDAP, Kerberos, AD, and IAM.
• Strong development skills in Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience debugging networking issues including DNS, proxy settings, and security groups.

Preferred Skills

• BI tool administration certification.
