Description

You will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence reporting systems using the WebFOCUS platform. You own the full lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Design and implement web reporting security measures and establish backup and recovery standards.
• Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements and perform infrastructure analysis to remediate WebFOCUS inefficiencies.
• Develop and document test plans, testing procedures, and test results for web applications and reports.
• Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to new staff and client stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing business intelligence reporting systems in data warehousing environments.
• Expertise with WebFOCUS 8, including installation, configuration, and administration of the WebFOCUS server.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for web application development.
• Experience creating accessible work products conforming to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.
• Proven ability to design mobile-first reporting systems with emphasis on responsive design and performance optimization.
• Ability to create models or prototypes that include physical, interface, logical, or data models.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with star schemas, data cubes, and data marts.
• Knowledge of API integration and multiple website design/development projects.
