Description

You will design, develop, and maintain interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using WebFOCUS to support organizational BI needs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dynamic reports and dashboards with drill-down and filtering capabilities.
• Optimize WebFOCUS code and reporting structures for high performance and fast response times.
• Execute ETL processes using relational databases to prepare data for reporting.
• Integrate WebFOCUS solutions with Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, and 1010data platforms.
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of BI applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on WebFOCUS development experience, specifically with InfoAssist, App Studio, and WebFOCUS Designer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, joins, and data modeling concepts.
• Deep understanding of WebFOCUS architecture, including data adapters, reporting servers, and security.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience with ETL processes.
• Proven ability to build complex BI solutions with dynamic filtering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake (data ingestion, views, performance tuning) or GCP services like BigQuery.
• Exposure to modern BI tools including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
