WebFOCUS Technical Lead

You will lead the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of WebFOCUS-based business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of WebFOCUS applications, reports, dashboards, and portals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of WebFOCUS developers while setting development standards.
• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders to define scope and timelines.
• Develop complex integrations between WebFOCUS and various data sources, including APIs, databases, and flat files.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshooting complex technical issues and managing server environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in WebFOCUS development.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or management role.
• Expertise in WebFOCUS tools: App Studio, ReportCaster, InfoAssist, and WebFOCUS Designer.
• Hands-on experience with Master Files (MAS), Access Files (ACX), and FOCOS databases.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with WebFOCUS performance tuning and server management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with integrating WebFOCUS with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
