Description

Lead operational support, installation, and maintenance of web server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance across multiple websites.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, configuration, security, and maintenance of web and application servers.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using usage statistics and logs to report on site behavior.
• Execute timely updates, upgrades, and patches to prevent service loss.
• Troubleshoot server problems, security issues, and usability concerns in collaboration with development teams.
• Test backup and recovery plans regularly to ensure system resilience.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in application or infrastructure support within an enterprise environment.
• Mandatory expertise in JBOSS, including automated deployment, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
• Proficiency with WebLogic and Jenkins workflows.
• Working knowledge of GIT commands and Linux commands.
• Experience managing certificate renewals.
• Understanding of artifact repositories such as JFrog or Nexus.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Wily, or Nagios.
• Understanding of Incident, Change, and Problem management processes.

Preferred Skills

• F5 Load Balancer experience (VIP creation, iRules, BIG-IP).
• Exposure to Automic ARA AE Broadcom, Akamai, or Google Apigee.
• Experience with ColdFusion or performing upgrades for Artifactory, Tomcat, Jenkins, or Apigee.
