Description

You design and develop RESTful and SOAP web service APIs to connect enterprise systems including GIS, ERP, asset management, and document management. You analyze existing platforms to identify optimal integration points and build connectors for seamless interoperability. You implement secure, scalable integrations supporting event-driven architectures and asynchronous updates. You ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, including data encryption and vulnerability assessments. You develop testing plans, support automated testing, and document work for knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful and SOAP web service APIs for enterprise system integration.
• Analyze platforms to identify integration points and develop middleware connectors.
• Implement secure, scalable integrations supporting event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, data encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop comprehensive testing plans and document solutions for knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing solutions on the webMethods integration platform.
• At least 2 years of experience working with the webMethods.IO SaaS platform.
• Proven experience developing SAP RFC integrations and custom services using Java.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity management, and secure software development practices.
• Familiarity with Integration Server, Universal Messaging, and API Gateway.
• Experience with the webMethods Test Suite.
