Description

You will architect, design, and implement next-generation web applications and middleware systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and integrate microservices using REST and JSON within AWS cloud environments.
• Perform software installation, configuration, and upgrades for middleware systems.
• Modernize and re-architect legacy applications by providing engineering expertise in infrastructure as code, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and remediate middleware defects across all components.
• Automate the installation, configuration, and patching of middleware environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in middleware system administration.
• 4+ years of experience with SoftwareAG webMethods Suite.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud computing, including EC2, VPC, IAM, and networking.
• Deep knowledge of webMethods API Gateway and IntegrationServer.
• Hands-on experience with webMethods EntireX, ConnX, and ApplinX configuration for mainframe integration.
• Proficiency in installing and patching webMethods API Gateway, IntegrationServer, Portal, CentrASite, and TerraCotta.
• Working knowledge of Linux (RHEL 7.x) and shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell).
• Experience working within Kanban or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) teams.
• Basic experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins), DevOps (Ansible), and PaaS (Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Knowledge of API development and monitoring tools like Ready API, Swagger, Splunk, or DynaTrace.
• Experience implementing role-based security using LDAP or Active Directory.
