Description

You will manage and maintain WebSphere application environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy WebSphere application servers on AIX and Linux.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and security fixes to maintain system integrity.
• Monitor application and system performance to troubleshoot, diagnose, and implement fixes.
• Write and deploy shell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks.
• Deploy and manage applications using containers, microservices, and Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in system administration or application deployment.
• Proficiency with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with WebSphere, Apache, IBM HTTP Server, or IIS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Ansible, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and Bitbucket.
• Strong version control skills using Git or Subversion.
• Knowledge of SSL and application security within WebSphere environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Experience administering Salesforce or MuleSoft integration platforms.
• Experience using monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or Azure Monitor.
