Description

You will own the administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise middleware platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot middleware products, primarily WebSphere Application Server and IIS.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across middleware components.
• Apply industry best practices regarding security standards (TLS, Ciphers, certificates).
• Integrate and troubleshoot services using JMS, J2C, JDBC, and JCAs, ensuring connectivity with upstream/downstream systems.
• Drive the resolution of complex technical problems by leading technical discussions with peer teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server and IIS.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuration of middleware products.
• Working knowledge of JMS, J2C, JDBC, JCA, and Web Services integration.
• Experience deploying application/web servers in large enterprise environments.
• Competency in scripting languages including Perl, Shell, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to debug and apply analytical problem-solving techniques to production issues.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
