Description

You will design and develop secure multi-channel solutions using WebSphere Portal for browsers, smartphones, and tablets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client architects to define current and future state architectures.
• Design and develop responsive and adaptive web solutions.
• Blueprint IBM WCM architecture, including artifacts, syndication, and topology.
• Provide technical solutions and estimations for IBM WebSphere Portal projects.
• Integrate external applications through portal frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Portal Architect specializing in IBM WebSphere Portal 8.x and IBM Web Content Management 8.x.
• Expertise in IBM WAS 9.0.0.6, IBM WXS 8.6.1.2, HCL Portal/WCM 9.0 CF16, IHS 9, and RHEL 7.4.
• Proficiency in Java 1.8, Spring Boot (mandatory), and Spring Framework.
• Strong knowledge of Web Services (REST/SOAP) and SOA design.
• In-depth experience with IBM WebSphere Portal Themes, RAD portlets, search development, and Personalization.
• Hands-on experience with WCM Library designing, WCM Search, WCM API, and WCM personalization.
• Technical proficiency in JSP, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, or Dojo.
• Experience with Oracle, MongoDB, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Experience using Rational Application Developer (RAD).

Preferred Skills

• Background in Application Support.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
