Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performs installation and setup activities for WebSphere Portal components in support environments.
• Provides ongoing WebSphere support including monitoring, issue diagnosis, and resolution of portal and middleware components.
• Supports Apigee integrations and performs related troubleshooting within the application support landscape.
• Conducts detailed troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for application issues.
• Delivers end-to-end application support across incident lifecycle including triage, investigation, resolution, and closure.
• Manages configuration changes ensuring accuracy, controlled deployments, and minimal impact to production systems.
• Applies monitoring and management practices using tools such as IBM Tivoli where applicable.
• Utilizes Python and shell scripting for automation, diagnostics, and operational efficiency.
• Performs SQL-based validations to support troubleshooting and data verification activities.
• Provides L2/L3 support guidance by mentoring team members and ensuring adherence to support processes.

Skills Required:

• Demonstrates strong experience in WebSphere installation, configuration, and application support.
• Possesses hands-on expertise in troubleshooting enterprise applications and middleware systems.
• Shows familiarity with Apigee integration and support workflows.
• Applies knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Exhibits understanding of database concepts and SQL for troubleshooting purposes.
• Demonstrates ability to manage incidents effectively and maintain system stability.
• Shows capability to guide and support teams in L2/L3 support environments.
• Communicates effectively and collaborates with cross-functional teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
