Description

You will own the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of WebSphere Portal components. Your work ensures system stability through proactive monitoring and effective incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure WebSphere Portal in support environments.
• Triage, investigate, and resolve L2/L3 application and middleware incidents.
• Support Apigee integrations and troubleshoot related issues.
• Manage configuration changes to ensure controlled deployments with minimal production impact.
• Mentor team members and guide adherence to support processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with WebSphere installation, configuration, and application support.
• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting enterprise applications and middleware systems.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation and diagnostics.
• Experience with SQL-based validations for troubleshooting and data verification.
• Familiarity with Apigee integration and support workflows.
• Ability to apply monitoring practices using tools like IBM Tivoli.
