Description

You will direct engineering and project management activities for the design, construction, and optimization of energy assets, including transmission systems, compressor stations, and hydrocarbon storage facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering activities for pipeline sizing, equipment design, and facility maintenance.
• Manage construction plans, implementation, and third-party contract resources.
• Execute project management tasks including AFE preparation, cost management, and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Conduct hydraulic calculations, gas flow analysis, and load studies to identify equipment efficiencies.
• Research and apply governmental rules, regulations, codes, and standards to all engineering studies.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or Metallurgy.
• 3-5 years of experience in the Energy Industry sector.
• Experience with regulated (CFR 49-192/195) or non-regulated assets including pipelines, booster stations, and compressor stations.
• Knowledge of project specifications, codes, standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage material selection for complex designs and HVL products.
• Experience in pipeline system planning, gathering system operation, and measurement station design.
• Proficiency in creating schedules, managing change orders, and preparing project progress reports.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SAW welding processes.
• Background in gas measurement, regulation activities, and NGL fractionation.
