Description

You will own the integration and performance testing of Comcast-deployed Wi-Fi gateways, extenders, home security devices, and managed Wi-Fi clients.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies and plans for Wi-Fi hardware and software.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product functionality and requirements.
• Create, maintain, and evolve test automation in coordination with QA and software teams.
• Triage issues and perform root-cause troubleshooting across the product lifecycle.
• Document testing processes and ensure clear communication with peers and management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technical experience with Wi-Fi/RF in computer architecture and data communications.
• Experience testing wireless technologies including Wireless APs, Routers, and standards (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, Bridging, and Switching.
• Familiarity with Veriwave and packet debuggers like Wireshark.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages with strong data science tool knowledge.
• Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for analysis and automation.
• Experience with the full product development lifecycle, including QA processes and deployment.
