Description

You will design, develop, and execute test plans for Wi-Fi routers, extenders, and mesh networking solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, performance, and stress testing to evaluate Wi-Fi range, throughput, and reliability.
• Test Wi-Fi roaming performance using 802.11k and 802.11v to ensure seamless device handoff.
• Analyze Wi-Fi extender performance regarding coverage optimization, latency, and backhaul.
• Utilize Wi-Fi testing tools to capture and analyze network performance data.
• Integrate advancements in Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 into test strategies and execution.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in relevant engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards and RF fundamentals.
• Proficiency with packet analysis using Wireshark.
• Experience with network testing tools including Veri Wave, Ixia Chariot, and Alethea.
• Ability to script automation using Python or Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and RADIUS.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with cloud-managed Wi-Fi solutions and band steering.
