Execute wireless technology testing and validation for hardware and standards compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform Wi-Fi functionality, interoperability, performance, stress, latency, and reliability testing.
• Develop and implement test strategies using manual and automated methods.
• Conduct customer experience testing in real-world environments by defining and collecting KPIs.
• Analyze packet captures to troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
• Test wireless access points, extenders, and Bluetooth technologies.

Required Skills

• 1+ years of experience in wireless technology testing.
• Deep knowledge of 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 technologies.
• Understanding of Wi-Fi features: OFDMA, MU-MIMO, Band steering, and MLO.
• Experience with 802.11 k/v/r, Mesh networking, and roaming.
• Proficiency with security protocols (WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA3).
• Experience with test tools: Veriwave, IXIA Chariot, Alethea, and Spirent.
• Skill in packet debugging using Wireshark or Omnipeek.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with industry associations like WBA and WFA.
