Description

You will manage and optimize large-scale wireless infrastructure and connectivity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot wireless client issues and differentiate between network and client-side problems to drive resolution at scale.
• Perform RF design and wireless site surveys, including the analysis of existing RF survey data.
• Identify, alert on, and isolate rogue WAPs or clients.
• Automate wireless deployments at scale using configuration generation tools.
• Analyze packet captures to isolate issues within the TCP/IP protocol stack.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wireless networking.
• Deep understanding of 802.11 standards, client association, authentication, and roaming (802.11k/v/r).
• Hands-on experience with Aruba and Cisco wireless controller architectures, including C9800, C9136I, C9166, and DNAC.
• Experience with Aruba 72xx, 92xx, 535, 567, 655, and Airwave.
• Proficiency with Ekahau survey tools.
• Knowledge of MCS data-rates and their correlation to wireless customer experience.
• Hands-on experience with wired protocols: STP, VRRP, HSRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Strong expertise in the TCP/IP protocol stack.
