Description

You will own end-to-end user experience testing for gateways, Wi-Fi extenders, and home networking devices. You will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to increase coverage and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, performance, regression, and interoperability testing on wireless hardware.
• Design and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Cucumber.
• Validate Wi-Fi technologies including 802.11 standards, mesh networking, band steering, roaming, and wireless backhaul.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and conduct root-cause analysis to identify quality gaps.
• Drive automation strategy and integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5–8+ years of experience in device testing, wireless networking, or broadband hardware.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Cucumber for test automation.
• Deep knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Hands-on experience with networking protocols: DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, TCP/UDP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and shape test strategy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mesh networking and wireless backhaul validation.
• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
