Description

You will own end-to-end testing and defect validation for Wi-Fi extender products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute rate vs. orientation, rate vs. range, and performance tests using RF isolation chambers.
• Conduct inter-op testing for CE and CPE devices.
• Validate defects and test enhanced Wi-Fi features.
• Communicate test data and technical findings to executive-level management.
• Drive multiple projects across teams through independent troubleshooting and debugging.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of technical experience in Wi-Fi, computer architecture, and data communications.
• Deep understanding of 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax standards and specifications.
• Hands-on experience testing Wireless APs, routers, and extenders.
• Proficiency with traffic generators including iGen, Ixia Chariot, and iPert.
• Expertise with packet debuggers such as Wireshark, OmniPeek, and Savvius.
• Working knowledge of Veriwave and IXIA Chariot.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, Bridging, and Switching.
• Competency in UNIX-based systems, command-line tools, and scripting languages.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with IoT testing (Zigbee, Bluetooth, Thread) and MoCA.
• Knowledge of Ethernet in a DOCSIS environment.
