Description

You own the integration and performance testing of Wi-Fi Gateways, extenders, home security devices, and managed Wi-Fi clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies and test plans for Wi-Fi hardware.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed test cases and follow existing test plans to meet release schedules.
• Define and document product and feature functionality by collaborating with product managers and development engineers.
• Create, maintain, and evolve test plans and automation alongside QA, software, and product engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technical experience with Wi-Fi/RF in computer architecture and data communications.
• Experience with wireless technology testing, including APs, Routers, and standards (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6 Addressing, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, Bridging.
• Familiarity with industry test tools like Veriwave and IXIA Chariot, and packet debuggers like Wireshark.
• Experience designing or extending existing test frameworks.
• Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for analysis and automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
