Comcast is looking for a highly skilled Wi-Fi Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in wireless, RF, and home networking technologies. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in real-world wireless environments and enjoy owning testing end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Strong hands-on experience with Wi-Fi / RF, computer architecture, and data communications
Expertise in testing Wireless APs, Routers, Extenders
Deep knowledge of 802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards
Solid understanding of real-world wireless environments
Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, Bridging, Switching
Experience with Wi-Fi test tools: Veriwave, IXIA Chariot
Packet analysis using Wireshark, Omnipeek
Knowledge of secondary home networking tech: Bluetooth, Zigbee, MoCA, Matter, Ethernet in a DOCSIS environment
Familiarity with RF chambers/testbeds: Octoscope, Lindgren, Candela
Experience with data science tools, scripting, and programming
Strong background in test framework design and extension
Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux command-line tools
Experience across the full product development lifecycle
Strong communication skills with ability to lead projects and present to senior leadership
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
