Description

You will manage integration and performance testing for Wi-Fi gateways, owning test strategy development and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans to validate product functionality and customer requirements.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues identified during lab and vendor testing.
  • Run automated test suites daily and generate detailed status reports.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements and validate use cases.
  • Monitor production systems and interface with customers to resolve product-level issues.

Required Skills

  • Experience testing wireless technology including APs, routers, and extenders.
  • Knowledge of wireless standards 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax.
  • Proficiency with TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, bridging, and switching.
  • Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi test tools such as Veriwave WT-20/90 or IXIA Chariot.
  • Experience using packet debuggers including Wireshark, Omnipeek, or Savius.
  • Ability to use scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, or Shell for basic test automation.
  • Experience running automation test harnesses.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid understanding of SQA test methodologies and practices.
