Description

You will own end-to-end testing for wireless access points, routers, and extenders in real-world RF environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Test Wi-Fi APs, routers, and extenders against 802.11 b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards.
• Execute network traffic and performance tests using Veriwave and IXIA Chariot.
• Analyze packet captures and troubleshoot root causes using Wireshark and Omnipeek.
• Develop and extend test frameworks using scripting and programming tools.
• Collaborate across teams to lead projects and present findings to senior leadership.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi, RF, and home networking testing.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, Bridging, and Switching.
• Proficiency with Wi-Fi test tools: Veriwave, IXIA Chariot.
• Experience with packet analysis tools: Wireshark, Omnipeek.
• Familiarity with RF chambers and testbeds: Octoscope, Lindgren, Candela.
• Strong UNIX/Linux command-line skills and data science tooling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of secondary home networking technologies: Bluetooth, Zigbee, MoCA, Matter, Ethernet in a DOCSIS environment.
• Experience with computer architecture and data communications.
