Description

You will test and validate Wi-Fi functionality across various standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans covering Wi-Fi connectivity, throughput, roaming, and power management.
• Perform protocol-level testing across 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Conduct interoperability testing with diverse access points and client devices.
• Automate test cases using Python or similar scripting languages.
• Log defects, analyze root causes, and collaborate with development teams on resolution.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Wi-Fi testing.
• Strong understanding of 802.11 protocols and RF behavior.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation.
• Experience using Wireshark, Octoscope, and AirMagnet for analysis.
• Experience with general Wi-Fi test tools.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document test results and procedures clearly.
