Description

This role involves rigorous testing and validation of WLAN performance and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for WLAN environments.
• Develop custom tools specifically for Wi-Fi testing.
• Analyze throughput, performance, and stability characteristics on WLAN.
• Operate and interpret data from RF testing equipment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in WLAN protocol testing (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Experience with security protocols, specifically WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi extender, mesh, and steering protocols (802.11k, 802.11v).
• Proficiency in Linux and demonstrable coding experience.
• Strong analytical skills using Wi-Fi sniffers and packet capture tools.
• Experience with throughput, performance, and stress testing on WLAN.
• Hands-on experience with Spectrum Analyzer, Ixia, Attenuators, Omni Peek, Wireshark, Spirent, and RF Equipment.
