Description

You will design, develop, and maintain WiFi and networking software modules on embedded Linux platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize system-level components using C programming.
• Integrate WiFi drivers and interact with firmware to build protocol stacks.
• Customize and develop networking features on OpenWRT and Linux-based systems.
• Debug complex system-level and networking issues across WiFi layers (L2/L3).
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, and system integration teams for product delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in WiFi protocol stack development and wireless networking concepts.
• Proficiency in C programming for embedded or system-level development.
• Hands-on experience with Linux kernel, device drivers, and networking subsystems.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and firewall concepts.
• Experience with WiFi protocols including IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax.
• Strong debugging skills using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and kernel logs.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenWRT customization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for low-level system issues.
