Description

You will develop and maintain core functionality for wireless networking systems, owning the code lifecycle from user-space applications to the Linux kernel.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug code in user and kernel space for WiFi functionality.
• Implement and tune networking protocols including Multicast, DHCP, MAP-T, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance within the wireless stack.
• Develop and manage packages for embedded systems, such as Opkg or RPM.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 8+ years of programming experience in C or C++.
• 8+ years of experience in WiFi/Wireless networking (AP, Hotspot, Single SSID, Band/Channel).
• 8+ years of Linux kernel development experience.
• Strong working knowledge of networking concepts (Multicast, DHCP, MAP-T, IPv4, IPv6).
• Proficiency with source control management and CI/CD environments.
• Experience developing features for OpenWRT/PRPL.
• Strong scripting skills using Python, Groovy, or busyBox (ash and tools).
• Ability to set up cross-compiler and build environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded systems packaging and deployment.
