Description

You will develop and maintain core components of the WiFi system, focusing on OpenWRT/PRPL features and system performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop features for OpenWRT and PRPL environments.
• Design, develop, and deploy solutions independently to meet deadlines.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and tune system performance indicators.
• Proactively improve solutions, systems, and engineering processes.
• Manage individual tasks while collaborating effectively within a team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of programming experience in C/C++ for user and kernel space.
• 8+ years of experience in WiFi/Wireless networking (AP, Hotspot, Single SSID, Band/Channel).
• 8+ years of Linux kernel development experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols: Multicast, DHCP, MAP-T, IPv4, IPv6.
• Experience with source control management and CI/CD environments.
• Practical experience creating packages (Opkg or RPM).
• Ability to set up cross-compilers and build environments for bootstrapping.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Groovy, and BusyBox (ash and tools).
• Ability to identify system performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
