Description

You will test and validate wireless technologies, including access points and extenders, across various standards and environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functionality, interoperability, performance, stress, latency, and reliability testing.
• Develop and execute test strategies using manual and automated methods.
• Analyze packet captures to troubleshoot wireless connectivity and performance issues.
• Define and collect KPIs to conduct customer experience testing in real-world environments.
• Execute testing for Wi-Fi features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, band steering, and MLO.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wireless technology testing.
• Deep knowledge of 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and Wi-Fi 6E/7.
• Experience with 802.11 k/v/r, Mesh, and roaming protocols.
• Proficiency with Wi-Fi security protocols including WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3.
• Hands-on experience with test tools such as Veriwave, IXIA Chariot, Alethea, and Spirent.
• Expertise in packet debuggers including Wireshark and Omnipeek.
• Ability to analyze Wi-Fi packets to resolve complex issues.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated test script development for wireless validation.
