Description

You will lead engineering investigations to identify, reproduce, and resolve product defects within wireless systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to define technical requirements for system resources and 802.11 compliance.
• Develop strategies to characterize Wi-Fi behavior in new products and lead root-cause analysis for engineering investigations.
• Communicate with tool development teams to implement automation for new test features across global regulatory domains.
• Review design specifications to ensure validity regarding product architecture, testability, and verification.
• Assist in developing Quality Assurance test philosophies, methodologies, and viable test strategies for product functionality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in networking and wireless technologies.
• Strong understanding of 802.11 technologies and IP protocols.
• Proficiency with Linux/UNIX environments.
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi technology and lab tools/setups.
• Proven troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Ability to identify, reproduce, and drive bugs or defects to resolution.
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with advanced Wi-Fi test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of industry trends from IEEE, WFA, WBIA, and IETF.
