Description

You will design, develop, and execute test plans for Wi-Fi routers, extender, and mesh networking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, performance, and stress testing to evaluate Wi-Fi range, throughput, and reliability.
• Test and analyze Wi-Fi extenders for coverage optimization, latency, and backhaul performance.
• Perform Wi-Fi roaming performance testing using 802.11k and 802.11v to ensure seamless handoff.
• Utilize Wi-Fi testing tools to capture and analyze network performance data.
• Develop and execute test strategies using both automation and manual methods.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering focused on wireless networking.
• Strong understanding of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, RF fundamentals, and wireless security protocols.
• Experience with Wi-Fi routers, extenders, and mesh networking solutions.
• Proficiency in network debugging, packet analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with test automation using Python or Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with networking protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, and RADIUS.
• Experience with roaming protocols like 802.11k and 802.11v.
• Experience with industry standard Wi-Fi test tools (e.g., Wireshark, iperf).
