Description

You will own hardware lab testing for CPE devices and validate compliance with wireless protocols.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab testing of CPE hardware and validate compliance with 802.11 protocols.
• Perform over-the-air performance testing using traffic generators and attenuators.
• Create test cases to validate hardware features against specifications.
• Execute requirement gathering, SLA creation, and technical documentation.
• Investigate and validate hardware issues against technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware testing.
• In-depth knowledge of 802.11 protocols and features.
• Experience with traffic generators (Ixia, Spirent) and RF tools (Keysight, Rhode and Schwarz).
• Proficiency with Wireshark, Octoscope, Octobox, WaveApps, or WaveQoE.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, TCL, and command line interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail, and Excel.
• Proven experience performing over-the-air testing.

Preferred Skills

• CWNP, CWNA, CWAP, CWNE, or CCNA certifications.
