Description

Lead data migration initiatives within the Windchill PLM environment, owning the end-to-end migration strategy from non-PLM systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data from non-PLM sources to Windchill, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
• Design and execute data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques for complex datasets.
• Leverage Windchill data migration tools, utilities, and Site consolidation processes.
• Develop and maintain scripting languages to automate migration workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration methodologies and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in data migration projects, preferably within Windchill.
• Deep understanding of Windchill data model, workflows, and configurations.
• Working knowledge of PLM domain concepts and engineering document management.
• Proficiency in Core Java for developing migration utilities.
• Experience with EIS PLM and Windchill-specific technical tools.
• Strong scripting skills for automating data processes.
• Ability to manage conflicts and guide teams through migration activities.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications in data management or PLM.
• Knowledge of CAD data structures.
