Description

You will customize and develop within the Windchill environment, owning data utilities, workflow configurations, and API integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Windchill customizations including data utilities, form validators, and loader mechanisms.
• Configure Windchill soft typing using Type and Attribute Manager.
• Manage Workflow and LifeCycle configurations through custom development.
• Implement ACLs and manage database transactions using JDBC.
• Build application interfaces by reusing Windchill REST APIs and the OData layer.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of Windchill customization experience.
• Strong Core Java knowledge, including linked lists, arrays, and collections.
• Proficiency with Windchill APIs, JavaDoc, and PTC best practices.
• Experience with JDBC connections and writing queries to specification.
• Working knowledge of Windchill REST APIs and OData.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL or Oracle databases.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools including Git and JIRA.
• Experience managing technical support cases with PTC.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windchill Bulk Migration and writing migration utilities.
• Knowledge of customization deployments in clustered environments.
