Description

You will provide L3-level support for Windows Server Administration in mission-critical environments, ensuring high availability and business continuity. This role involves troubleshooting complex OS, performance, SQL Clustering, file permission, storage, and network issues while managing both VMs and physical servers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Microsoft Failover Clustering and perform server upgrades or migrations across various Windows OS flavors.
• Troubleshoot performance issues related to VMs and physical servers, including root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of preventive measures.
• Automate system administration and configuration management tasks using Ansible to improve efficiency.
• Implement system hardening, patching, upgrades, and security best practices to maintain system integrity.
• Collaborate with application, VMware, network, storage, and security teams, and participate in an on-call rotation for 24x7 production support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator with a Bachelor's degree.
• Deep expertise in Windows Server Administration, including Failover Clustering and SQL Clustering.
• Proficiency in AWS and Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for OS, performance, storage, and network-level issues.
• Experience with SQL Server and managing file permissions in complex environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware virtualization environments.
• Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
