Description
You will manage Windows server infrastructure, ensuring system stability, security, and performance across production and non-production environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Windows Server operating systems, roles, and services.
- Monitor system performance and capacity, proactively resolving incidents to minimize downtime.
- Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and security policies via Active Directory.
- Execute regular patching, updates, and maintenance activities aligned with change management processes.
- Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures for Windows systems.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Windows Administrator or in a similar infrastructure role.
- Strong expertise in installing, configuring, and managing Windows Server operating systems.
- Practical experience with system updates, patching, and routine maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot Windows OS and basic network connectivity issues.
- Proven experience in user and access management and basic security hardening.
- Familiarity with ITIL-aligned practices for incident, problem, and change management.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
