Description

You will manage and maintain Windows servers within virtualized environments, handling DNS, networking, and security compliance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2008 and 2012 environments using VMware or Hyper-V management tools.
• Implement and manage DNS and associated networking services.
• Monitor Windows Servers using built-in features and third-party tools.
• Troubleshoot server system problems and networking issues involving routing, firewalls, and DMZ architecture.
• Ensure compliance with corporate security policies through systematic problem-solving.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in server administration.
• Proficiency with VMware and Hyper-V.
• Experience managing Windows Server 2008 and 2012.
• Ability to write and manage Ansible playbooks and roles.
• Working knowledge of Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with DNS and networking services.
• MCSA or MCSE certifications.
• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
