Description

You will design, standardize, and harden Windows server and desktop environments, owning the Golden Image initiative and OS deployment lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation, standardization, and hardening of Windows server and desktop Golden Images.
• Evaluate and test new Windows OS versions for application and service compatibility.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance.
• Set standards for approved infrastructure deployments, integrations, and bare metal server configurations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Windows administration.
• Deep understanding of Windows patching methodologies using WSUS and SCCM.
• Expertise in Active Directory, including Groups, OUs, structure, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Windows Server OS roadmap, versioning, and features.
• Strong knowledge of OS hardening (RBAC, firewalls, authentication).
• Experience with virtualization platforms (ESXi, OSP, KVM) and bare metal installs.
• Strong PowerShell automation skills.
• Understanding of installation licensing and networking fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with Bash/Shell, Python, or Ansible.
• MCSA or MCSE certifications.
