Description

You will design and manage enterprise Windows server environments and VMware virtualization infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage VMware components including vSphere, vRA, vROPS, ESX, and NSX.
• Build and configure Windows and Linux server operating systems with a focus on provisioning, security, performance, and storage.
• Maintain virtualization system compliance with required security standards.
• Troubleshoot issues within the virtualization environment across Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Perform performance testing, disaster recovery testing, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise server environments.
• Expertise with Windows Server (2003, 2008, 2012, 2016).
• Hands-on experience with VMware stack: vSphere, vRA, vROPS, ESX, and NSX.
• Proficiency with Linux O/S.
• Experience using automation techniques, specifically vRA.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds, PuTTY, and HP Service Manager.
• Ability to collaborate with Solution Architects, DBAs, and Security teams.
