Description

Develop and maintain COBOL applications on Windows platforms, focusing on legacy banking and core financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug COBOL code for transaction-based batch processing systems.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, primarily using MS SQL Server.
• Manage SDLC processes, including testing, deployment, and release lifecycle.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues within legacy financial applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on COBOL development experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Windows-based COBOL environments.
• Familiarity with legacy banking or core financial systems.
• Understanding of batch processing and transaction-based architectures.
• Knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, and deployment processes.
