Description

You will debug and triage Windows device drivers across graphics, audio, connectivity, USB Type-C, power management, and platform components.

Responsibilities

• Root-cause driver issues using ITP and WinDbg.
• Manage the full bug life cycle using Jira, Bugzilla, or HSD.
• Execute system, functional, integration, stress, and stability testing.
• Capture and analyze logs via Putty, Teraterm, and serial log capture.
• Write test cases and use cases for power management, multimedia, and connectivity domains.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Windows debugging tools, specifically WinDbg.
• Proficiency in C, Python, and Bash scripting.
• Experience in the full SDLC/STLC including development, testing, debugging, and triage.
• Experience with log capture and log analysis.
• Knowledge of Windows OS versions from Windows XP through Windows 11.
• Understanding of bug life cycle management.
• Experience with driver testing, API testing, and product testing.

Preferred Skills

• Pre/Post-Silicon debug or test experience.
• Knowledge of Intel x86 and x64 architecture.
• Experience with Intel tools including ITP, XDP, Trace32, SoCWatch, Xperf, and Batmon.
