Description

You will own engineering and operational tasks for Windows desktop environments from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions that meet security, supportability, and performance requirements for stakeholders and regulators.
  • Provide level-3 support to investigate and identify root causes for escalated technical issues.
  • Maintain high availability and user experience standards for all desktop solutions.
  • Author and disseminate technical documentation, including design documents, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
  • Automate workflows to provide self-service capabilities for users.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Windows desktop engineering.
  • Deep technical understanding of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2019.
  • Expertise with SCCM OSD orchestration and software delivery.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 Intune Modern Management.
  • Extensive experience migrating enterprise workloads to the cloud, such as network drives to OneDrive for Business.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/NRPT, PKI/CA, RADIUS, and NPS.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using event logs, SysInternals tools, and memory dump analysis.
  • Experience managing client and server hardware in an enterprise environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Windows Modern Management including AutoPilot and Windows365.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of Agile principles.
