You will own engineering and operational tasks for Windows desktop environments from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions that meet security, supportability, and performance requirements for stakeholders and regulators.
- Provide level-3 support to investigate and identify root causes for escalated technical issues.
- Maintain high availability and user experience standards for all desktop solutions.
- Author and disseminate technical documentation, including design documents, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Automate workflows to provide self-service capabilities for users.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Windows desktop engineering.
- Deep technical understanding of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2019.
- Expertise with SCCM OSD orchestration and software delivery.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 Intune Modern Management.
- Extensive experience migrating enterprise workloads to the cloud, such as network drives to OneDrive for Business.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/NRPT, PKI/CA, RADIUS, and NPS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using event logs, SysInternals tools, and memory dump analysis.
- Experience managing client and server hardware in an enterprise environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Windows Modern Management including AutoPilot and Windows365.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
- Understanding of Agile principles.
