Execute end-user desktop migrations following established migration playbooks.
Validate functionality of business-critical applications, including Microsoft 365, enterprise applications, web-based tools, and line-of-business applications.
Perform application testing, defect validation, and regression testing before and after migrations.
Troubleshoot Windows desktop, application, and configuration issues, working closely with support and engineering teams.
Provide timely user communication, technical documentation, and status updates throughout the migration process.
Track progress, identify risks, and report on migration activities.
Required Qualifications
5–8 years of overall IT experience.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Windows desktop migrations, including planning, cutover, validation, and post-migration support.
Strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments and application behavior.
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop or Azure-hosted desktop environments.
Understanding of cloud connectivity, access management, and networking fundamentals.
Proficiency in Python or Java for automation and troubleshooting.
Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with application testing, validation, and regression testing.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
Strong organizational and workload management skills.
Nice to Have
Exposure to AI-assisted troubleshooting or automation tools.
Previous application development or modernization experience.
Experience working in enterprise migration or digital transformation projects.
