Description

You manage Windows Server environments, hardware infrastructure, and VMware production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and monitor server hardware and Windows operating systems from NT through 2019.
• Troubleshoot memory dumps and blue screen errors to identify root causes of system failures.
• Maintain VMware vSphere environments, including vMotion, datastore administration, and management.
• Execute change management processes and participate in regular WSUS patching cycles.
• Validate new OS versions to ensure security and compliance for internal projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration.
• Proficiency with VMware vSphere (5.x, 6.x, 7.x) and virtualization concepts.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting HP, Dell, and IBM hardware, including firmware upgrades and ILO configuration.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience with scripting using Ansible, Python, or PowerShell.
• Ability to perform performance tuning and hardware error resolution.
• Understanding of storage, backup, and network technologies.
• Experience following ITIL and IT Service Management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience validating and deploying new OS versions in enterprise environments.
