Description

You will own the build, installation, and configuration of Windows Server 2022/2025 on physical and virtual machines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead server builds, installations, and configurations for Windows Server 2022/2025.
• Perform server upgrades and migrations across enterprise environments.
• Integrate servers into networks with correct VLAN, firewall, and IP configurations.
• Apply OS patches and updates using SCCM and manage endpoint protection.
• Troubleshoot server performance, connectivity, and application compatibility issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server OS (2008 R2 through 2025).
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Print Services.
• Experience with VMware vCenter, ESXi, and virtualization tools (P2V, V2V, snapshots, templates).
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and firewall configurations.
• Familiarity with scripting in PowerShell and VBScript.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams in large enterprise environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SQL, SCCM, ServiceNow, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
