Description

Support laboratory IT infrastructure and scientific computing environments, focusing on Windows OS deployment, imaging, and upgrades.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, image, and upgrade Windows operating systems in laboratory settings.
• Support Waters Empower CDS environments and configure laboratory instruments for integration.
• Deploy and maintain Waters LACE (Laboratory Acquisition and Control Environment) for instrument connectivity.
• Automate tasks using advanced Windows PowerShell scripting.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, network connectivity, and instrument communication issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting laboratory IT infrastructure or scientific computing environments.
• Hands-on experience with Windows OS deployment, imaging, and operating system upgrades.
• Advanced proficiency in Windows PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience supporting Waters Empower CDS environments.
• Experience deploying and supporting Waters LACE.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows networking, IP Addressing, DNS, and Network Bridging.
• Familiarity with ALM and ServiceNow for incident, change, and deployment management.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of chromatography instrument connectivity through LACE.
